Wardy’s Acre

Traditional English flower growers

Here at Wardy’s Acre, we love to create and supply you with gorgeous sustainable flowers grown right here in the heart of the Yorkshire Wolds

A little about us…

I'm Rosie, and I live in the East Yorkshire Wolds with my young family. I took on an allotment to grow my own cut flowers during lockdown in 2019, I grew more than I could ever use and Wardy’s Acre was born.

As I discovered more about the environmental impact of the cut flower industry, I became increasingly passionate about growing local flowers, including varieties that rarely make it to florists as they're not suitable for mass international transportation.

Now I produce arrangements and bouquets delivered in and around my town of Driffield all through the growing season (April - October). I offer subscription flowers and DIY bunches for you to arrange yourself as well as supplying wholesale to local florists.

You can order a bunch via email, or through our Facebook or Instagram. You can find our roadside stall out most weekends throughout the growing season. Please follow on Instagram or Facebook for updates of what is available each weekend.

All of our flowers are cut and conditioned for 24 hours to give you the longest vase time without the need for chemicals.

To make the flower farm as minimal waste as possible whatever that doesn’t go into a bunch and to take the winter itch out of growing season I throw my hand to creating dried flower arrangement’s.
